2004 Rosenblum Petite Sirah “Heritage Clones”

This is my first tasting from Rosenblum. This wine is tight tight! Very nicely done. A well endowed nose of leather, mesquite smoke, and berry fruits. A tightly structured, densely packed wine with flavors of chocolate, pepper, vanilla, and ripe boysenberry. The med long finish left me with a wonderful dry mineral mouth. This wine was very enjoyable. It weighs in at 16% alcohol.
$28 at Cova.
Score: 90
